Our Bakery

The most important thing about our bakery: We make everything from scratch. Take a look in our open kitchen and you'll see bags of King Arthur flour along with a variety of other basic ingredients, such as butter, sugar, nuts, fruit, get the picture. The majority of our breads are based on a rustic sourdough that relies solely on wild Eastern Shore yeast for its rise. Our baguettes are a mix of sourdough and a touch of commercial yeast. And like our sourdough, they get a long, slow cold rise, and then are baked fresh every morning.
